  1. Hello~ I found you through a lovely girl I follow on Pinterest and other pages, Nicole Gliddon. What a lovely story, beautiful family and wonderful content. I am so excited to be “following” you! Keep up the good work! Kathleen Shierk, Seattle, Washington, USA

  2. So thrilled to have found your blog through French Essence. I look forward to following your blog. A treat to vicariously travel to the French Countryside! Merci!

  3. Would love to receive your blog.
Absolutely love all the pictures and recipes. Lovely!!!
Can’t find a place to subscribe for just the e-mail blogs.

  4. Hey there! I’ve been reading your blog for some time now and finally got the bravery to go ahead and give you a shout out from Houston Texas! Just wanted to say keep up the excellent work!

  5. Hi Mimi,
I live in New York and my sister in Bordeaux. We both love to cook and between the 2 of us we have had many wonderful culinary adventures. I just wanted to say I love you blog and will be trying the duck burgers this weekend 🙂

Mimi x

  6. Hi Mimi!

I am a new blogger and have been recently cooking French dishes. While preparing to make Poulet Vallee d’Auge a couple of weeks ago, I happened upon the article about you in my October issue of Bon Appetit – and with a recipe for the same dish! After comparing both recipes it sounded like yours would have a greater depth of flavor. So I integrated the two and mentioned it on my blog. The dish was amazing!

Since then I have “followed” you for the beautiful content of your blog. Like you I am multi-cultural in heritage and philosophy.

Please let me know if you will be in the Los Angeles/Southern California area and perhaps we can have lunch together!

    Take care!
    Olga

  7. Mimi,
I have been enjoying your blog for a few years now and I thank you so much for the magic you bring each day and the delicious food you bring to my table. I am wondering if you know the recipe for a dish I have eaten many times when I have visited France. It is simple haricots verts with a white vinaigrette that I have only ever had in France. Please let me know if you have any thoughts about this recipe. bis xx

  8. Bonjour Mimi,

Pourriez vous me donner votre recette de soufflé à la crème de marrons ainsi que la glace au chocolat que servez en même temps! Merci.

  10. Hi Mimi,

I just read the article in Conde Nast and to say the least I am envious. My wife and I spent a week in Bordeaux in 2008, and so many wonderful memories came rushing back, including a lovely lunch in the cafe in Bages after a private tasting at Lynch Bages.

We are currently planning a summer trip. Could you please let me know when your cooking classes are up and running? I think that would be a nice way to end our trip before returning home.

    Best regards,

    John & Ronay Clancy

  11. Hi Mimi,
Can I ask you a question about one of the recipes in your new book? I tried making the Salted Butter Creme Carmel but noticed that the recipe does not mention when to add the gelatin to the custard. Unfortunately my attempt to improvise was disastrous. The custard was like rubber. I would love your help.
    Thank you. Dianne

  12. Thank you so much for getting back to me, Mimi! I did add the gelatin after the eggs so I wonder if the problem was that I doubled the recipe? By the way I have made several other recipes from your book and tthey were all delicious. Warm wishes to you and your family.

  13. Wow! I can’t believe I’ve taken so long to find this magnificent blog. I’m in the Tarn in the south of France, where food has been a wonderful journey ever since we moved here almost six years ago. I’ll definitely be following you! Two questions: do you have any tips for pleasing picky five-year-old boys who love Camembert but hate potatoes, and can you tell me who I contact to formally request an interview please, Mimi? In the meantime, I’m going hunting for duck recipes!

    1. Hello! Thanks so much for dropping by. My mother’s family is from the Tarn et Garonne, Moissac to be exact! For your little boy, may I suggest gratin Dauphinois? I only say this because it’s my kid’s favorite potato dish! As for the interview, it’ll be me… my email is [email protected]. All best,Mimix

  14. Hello Mimi,
Do you have a ‘newsletter’ which you send with more recipes (old or new or traditional) occasionally?
If so, how can I receive it?
Thank you for the available recipes that I read on your ‘.com’
    Michel

  15. Bonjour Mimi,

Merci pour ces belles photos du Medoc et de vos plats!
Avez vous fait un livre de recette en Francais? et si oui, où peut-on le trouver?

    Justine

  16. Hello Mimi,

I discovered your wonderful blog, it is really full of nice photos and recipes. I’m living in France, have 3 kids and planning to create my own small business. It is about proposing recipes for the week and delivering all the fresh food needed to the clients home. It will be very small, only delivering locally (a small village in the west of Paris). Is it possible to use 2 of your vegetables photos, which are on your blog ? It would be very nice to hear from you. Thanks so much in advance. Jelka

  17. Bonjour Mimi, je suis journaliste et souhaite vous contacter mais je ne trouve pas votre contact. Pourriez vous me répondre par mail ? Merci d’avance
    Nathalie

  22. Hi Mimi

I work on The Sunday Times and heard from Catherine Fitzgerald that you had done a cookery weekend at Glin Castle. We’d love to profile you in The Dish section of the ST Magazine and I wondered if you have any more collaborations planned with Glin Castle or indeed with other similar venues. You can reach me by email or call me on 07827255207.
