Workshops

We began hosting our workshops in 2015, marking our 11th anniversary this year. It’s amazing to think we’ve been doing this for so long, especially since we initially thought it might be a “one-off” experience. We’ve welcomed nearly a thousand wonderful participants, and we take great pleasure in the fact that many of them have returned for a second, third, or even fourth visit. We even have a special club of about a dozen people who have joined us at least five times.
The concept was simple at the start. We had just purchased a large house—some would call it a chateau—that needed a lot of care and renovation. Instead of opening a restaurant, we decided to open our doors for a few days at a time to those who share our passion for food and cooking, seasonal produce, and good wines. We wanted to welcome people who enjoy spending hours preparing feasts and even more time seated at long tables, sharing glorious food and creating lasting memories with like-minded individuals.
Over time we expanded this experience to various locations in Italy, achieving great success and creating lasting memories Last year, to keep things fresh and interesting, we hosted our first ever workshops in Hong Kong, where I grew up, and in the Scottish Highlands.
Below is our program for 2026 and 2027. We won’t be adding any more dates this year but we might add one or two things next year if they can fit comfortably into our schedule, a photography workshop or a tour of some sort. The year would not be complete without a Piemonte workshop, that’s where we live and work, we are so proud of our region and have enjoyed sharing it with our guests over the last few years.

“Annual” Turin Christmas workshop, 3rd -4th of December, 2026
Last December, I welcomed a small group of wonderful guests in my kitchen in Turin to celebrate the publication of my new cookbook. We visited markets, cooked together, and I shared some of the quieter secrets of my adopted city.
It was two days filled with laughter, delicious food, and a gentle Christmas spirit. At the end, someone said, “You should do this every year.”
So this year, we will.
Workshops 2027
We are delighted to add our workshop dates for 2027:
Venice, March 23–25, 2027
Venice in Early Spring
We have been hosting workshops in Venice since 2019, and it has become our most beloved destination. Over the years, there have been so many memorable moments, wonderful people, and cooking unforgettable meals.
Venice in March has its own quiet charm. The days begin to stretch longer, the air softens, the promise of spring.
We announced this workshop a few months ago and we have 3 spots left (according to latest availability).
Autumn Feast in Turin & Piemonte, October 6–8, 2027
We have called Turin home since 2018, and it is always a joy to share this city and its surrounding region. Turin remains one of Italy’s most authentic and elegant cities. Its streets belong to locals, its history runs deep, and its culinary heritage is generous.
During these days together, we will explore both the city and the countryside. Expect long tables, cooking and the quiet pleasure of eating well.
Hong Kong, November 2–5, 2027
The most vibrant city in Asia
Hong Kong is the city where I grew up, and it continues to shape the way I cook and think about food.
It is a place defined by its energy, its generosity, and its extraordinary food culture. There is nowhere quite like it.
My next cookbook, to be published late 2027, is dedicated to Chinese cooking, and this workshop will be a very special opportunity to share that journey with you, through markets, meals, cooking and the flavours of my childhood.
